Can you help?

Next year will be the 65th Anniversary of the Manchester Branch. With permission I've been compiling a list of all the past meetings that have been held at the branch. Fortunately Brian has saved a good proportion of Programme Cards going back to 1975. The only two that are missing are 1986 and 1987.

Also (again with permission) I've collected together the Branch Activities from the Journals going right back to 1946/47. However again there are a few gaps because my old journals of the 1950's don't have the "newsletter" part included.

Do you have the programme cards for 1986, 1987 or the newsletters from the 1950's National Journals to see if there is a reference to Manchester in the Branch Activities section. If you do I'd be really pleased to hear from you.

If any one happens to have any programme cards from before 1975 then I'd be very grateful to hear from you.

The eventual aim is to print out the list and to make them available sometime next year in the form of a booklet of some sort.

There also seems to have been some newsletters published by the Branch. I very much doubt that these will come to light now after all this time, but you never know - I think there where some from the 1960s and some from the late 1980's/early 1990's (anything after 1997 we've got copies of). Any information on these also very welcome.

To sum up these are the sorts of things that we are interested in.

• Pre-1975 programme cards, plus 1986/1987.
• Journal Newsletters from 1950 - 1963.
• Pre-1997 Branch Newsletters
• Any old photos of Branch Shows and/or Branch Members.
