Another cactus where the flower dwarfs the plant - an Echinopsis oxygona (one of the few true (not hybrid) Echinopsis species to have a non-white flower). Flowering in late June, note the large number of offsets being produced. This is my oldest cactus which took 15 years to flower, but it was well worth the wait! The flower is over 8 inches long, with a strong scent, and about 3 inches wide.
The offsets (3 years old) are now producing their own offsets (below). This one has 36.
